Funding appeal
Earlier this year, Sean & Tori made the enormous decision to leave their jobs, invest their onw savings and decidate themselves full-tim to transforming what was an old workshop (see more on our history post) into a music education and creative centre.
They've spent the last few months doing much of the building work themselves, learning an extraordinary amount along the way and putting aboslutley everything they have into makign this happen. It has been incredible rewarding but also considerably challenings. The building has need e a substantial structural, acoustic and mechanical work, and we've encountered unexpected costs that have stretched the finances beyond the original plans.
Most recently, a significant portion of the funding we had planned to rely on hasn't materialised. Unfortunatley, securing funding for a business that hasn't yet opened it's doors has proved particularly difficult, even though we've already invested, as have others, and have received wonderufl levels of interest from prospective students and the local community.
That is ultimately what inspired us to launch our funding campaign. We aren't asking people to fund an idea that exists only on paper. We're asking for help to finish something we've already poured our savings, time, energy and hearts into. We're so close to welcoming our first students, but without additional funding, there's a very real possibility that we won't be able to complete the project.
