We have a range of bookable spaces at 214 Station Studios, covering music teaching, band rehearsal, recording, and vocal work. The exact configuration of rooms is being finalised as we complete the fit-out, but the core offering is set.

Every space is record-enabled. That means wherever you are in the building, you have the option to capture what you're doing, whether that's a rough reference recording of a rehearsal, a demo, or something you intend to mix properly afterwards. It's not an add-on, it's built in.

Someone is on hand every time the building is open. Equipment is tested and ready before you arrive. If something isn't right in the first few minutes, we'll sort it.

Who our spaces are for

We are set up to welcome a fairly broad range of people through the door, and that's by design.

Music teachers who need a professional base to work from rather than teaching from home. Bands at every level, from people who've been rehearsing together for years to groups preparing for their first gig. Singers and vocalists working on new material, preparing for auditions, or recording demos. Young musicians accessing the space through our youth programme or schools partnerships. Podcasters and content creators who need a quiet, well-treated room to record in. And occasionally people who don't quite fit any of those categories but have something interesting they want to make!

Everyone gets the same standard of space and the same level of attention.

Flexible booking options
Teaching rooms and the vocal booth are available by the hour. Rehearsal rooms will be booked in three-hour slots, off-peak and peak. Block booking discounts are available for regular hirers, and Founding Tutor memberships offer additional benefits for music teachers.

What's included in your booking
All rooms are set up and tested before you arrive. Equipment is included in the room hire rate. In time, recording capability will be available in every space. Add-ons including engineer support, equipment hire and session recording are available at an additional cost.

Someone is always here
Unlike unmanned or lock-door facilities, 214 Station Studios is staffed every time it's open. If you have a question, need something adjusted, or want a hand with the equipment, there's always someone to ask.
